Job Vacancy : Study Center Supervisor

To nurture and grow the Study Center so that it reaches out to more women and enables them to reach higher.

Position Overview:
The Study Center has been established to facilitate continuing education for women, to help them achieve their dreams, and to apprise them about alternative career and education choices.

We are looking for a self-driven, knowledgeable and caring individual, who will help nurture this venture so that it reaches out to more women. The person must be up to date with current viable career and education choices and be able to counsel and guide students. The person must have a spirit of service and be sensitive to the rural ethos.

Key Responsibilities:
● Student Guidance: Provide mentoring and career counselling to students. Guide students who nurse ambitions of clearing exams for government jobs, so that they have a clear understanding of the process and study effectively. Expose students to alternative career options and provide ongoing encouragement and support.
● Student Academic Support: Help students enrol in courses to further their education, and provide academic guidance and support where needed.
● Program Development: Assist in developing and implementing educational programs, workshops, and events that enhance learning and skill development.
● Community Engagement: Actively promote the Study Center within neighbouring communities, encouraging women to use the library facilities and strive to push further in their education and professional ambitions.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the Kamalini team to identify resources and strategies for expanding the Study Center’s reach and impact.
● Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the Study Center, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for students.
● Reporting: Maintain records of student attendance, progress, and feedback, providing regular reports to the management team.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
● Previous experience in educational settings, career counselling, or community outreach.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
● A commitment to women's empowerment and education.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
● Good computer skills
● Proficient in English and Hindi
